2018 Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet & The #TimesUp Movement

Black is anything but simple. Black is a statement color, and in this case, it makes a very important one. This year’s all-black dress code at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards set the stage for one of the most interesting red carpet pre-shows I’ve ever seen. The women of Hollywood marched into view with mission and purpose, not to show off their black-clad designer gowns, but to stand for something bigger. Notice how the dress code also created opportunity for creativity in styling. Celebs allowed their own unique beauty to shine, by bringing pops of color into their looks through accessory and statements of beauty—something that’s often sorely looked over.

While all uniquely different, each look is equally important. This week’s best dressed list has been constructed in no particular order.
